In our \Views\Shared\_Layout.cshtml, we add the login partial view, to display Register and Login links at the top for anyone not logged in:

Click the Register button and create a user:

Click to confirm the account (We will wire this up to an actual email service later):

Then click Login and enter the email and password:

And we're logged in, with our email displayed with a friendly greeting, and a Logout button:
